This is a Uganda Country Programme (U-Growth II: Recovery and Development of Northern Uganda Component – RDNUC) and specifically the Strategic Intervention for Agricultural Production and Marketing. The main 

objective of the development cooperation is +25% increase in total value of agricultural production of 390 farmer groups (9,500 household).

Project achievements

• Average annual cash income increased by 28% to UGX 2,207,435. 
• 80% of the households had at least three meals daily
• Collective marketing was adopted by 28% of the beneficiaries 
• VSLA loans uptake for agribusiness stood at 69% 
• 64% of the groups adopted the use of animal traction technology to expand acreage and build VSLA portfolio
