YES Project is a 3-year partnership project funded by EU and is implemented by SNV, AFARD, and CEGED in the districts of Nebbi, Arua, Moyo and Yumbe. Its primary aim is to contribute to youth poverty reduction through improved and sustainable youth economic opportunities offered by non-formal, vocational and business skills development, minimal input provision, and market linkages. It targets 5,000 youth (aged 15-30 years). Thus, YES strives to support 1,900 youth to join formal employment; 2,500 youth to operate profitable agribusinesses; and 600 youth to engage in non-farm enterprises in ways that will increase youth-for-youth employment opportunities (for ≈ 3,000 more jobs), youth businesses linkages with financial, insurance, and market services.
